TIPS FOR STUDENTS

VERY USEFUL TIPS DURING YOUR COLLEGE DAYS

I have done two post graduation course and graduate engineering.For my young friends I am specially writing this post as during our time there were no one to guide us about how to prepare for exam,how to score,how to use spare time,how to plan for future.We were just coming and going to the college with no aim at all in the mind except to clear the exam with good marks and get the job early as per our Indian mindset.Yes I am excepting this is not true for all but true with 95 % students.

Now I am starting my tips with one quote :

"You must learn from the mistakes of others. You can't possibly live long enough to make them all yourself."

Note : With the following tips you may agree on some and disagree on other but without going in to the arguments follow what you like and forget what you dislike and if you feel its good give your comments

1.Time is money never waste in silly matters.

2.First think clearly and ask question to yourself  why I am doing this ? (studies i.e... to get the job,to start a business,to further study,hobby study etc..)

3.If you got the answer of above question then its wonderful..you are the one going to be successful because clear thoughts leads to success. 

4.Relation is the key factor in the life  (let it  be professional, or classmate or with any one).Develop the good relation and maintain it. 

5.Get the total information of the college (rules and regulation,facility (i.e. internet facility,library details,laborataroy detail,scholarship detail,placement detail,etc.)

6. Have a time-table for lectures ,labs,exam in your hand in advance

7.If you are going to attend the lecture be attentive to the professor. Generally professor give the time to ask any doubt or they inform students that they can raise query any time.So don't hesitate to ask the question.Don't think too much that what people will think if I ask the question because by asking the question you can be fool at present but by not asking you will be fool permanently.You are giving fees and time to the college so don't hesitate to ask.

8.Follow all the instruction from your class teacher/professor regarding assignments/practical/notes and its timeline

9.Complete the assignments in time.

10.After reaching the home just go through the study what taught in the class.

11.Plan your spare time i.e.brake,holidays,vacation.You can read the news paper,competitive exam books in the spare time.

12.Concentrate on the application part of study.( think why you are doing this practical or laboratory exercise,where can I apply this)   

13.Allocate proper time for sports activity,social activity,cultural activity etc.

14. Take proper rest 

15. Set proper schedule  (i.e. when to read,when to play,when to eat-be disciplined)  

16. Don't compare yourself with others in any matter.

17. Never underestimate your power,strengths,weaknesses. 

18.If you want job after study clear have a goal about first i) Private sector job ii) Government job iii) Jobs in abroad.

Clearly focus in that way only.

19.If you want to start a business then have a idea of your interest develop contacts accordingly, ask questions to yourself what,who,when,where,why.
